StanSpec

StanSpec is the road marking performance specification document. Annually published, this document keeps specifiers up to date with the latest amendments to road marking standards.

Since the introduction of the new European Standards BSEN 1436, BSEN 1824, BSEN 1871, StanSpec provides the standard specification, notes for guidance, a fully revised schedule of prices for road markings and appendices giving advice to specifiers on monitoring and measuring performance.

The latest edition of StanSpec is the first to consolidate the latest TSRGD diagram numbers and introduces significant changes to the manner in which traffic management is provided within road marking contracts.

StanSpec is available in paper format, in packs of six documents, or electronic (CD) format. The electronic version is available on a 3yr licence and includes fully interactive price schedules.

Safety Code of Practice

The latest edition of Safety Code of Practice, radically revises the best practice guidelines in respect to Traffic Management, updates advice in relation to the LPG in line with the latest ADR regulations. It is also the first edition to incorporate policies and guidance for random breath testing of road marking operatives and new requirements for high conspicuty decals for road marking vehicles.

This fully revised edition provides best practise guidelines for the safe handling of materials and equipment and details of site safety for road marking companies, specifiers and operatives.

The Safety Code of Practice is a Sector Scheme 7 required document and is only available in electronic format with annual licence from the RSMA.
