Since November 1998 the RSMA, has held an Annual Conference for the Industry, this has proved to be a successful forum for everyone involved in Road Markings.

The conference has assisted Road Marking and Main Contractors, Local Authorities, Highway Agency Representatives and many more in the Industry, understand the changes in specifications, and the importance of road markings as a safety measure.

This has assisted in a better understanding of the industry and closer working relationships between the road marking contractors and end user.

Each Conference aims to address the most topical issues for that year, i.e. changes in specification, introduction of new working policies, topics suggested by delegates/members, as well as consistently reporting on the state of the road markings between Lands End and John O’Groat’s, by reporting on the Annual Road Marking Survey commissioned by the RSMA, which survey’s this sample of road markings every year.

Presentations are carried out by recognised experts in their field; delegate participation is encouraged and can lead to some lively discussions.
